We begin with an initial meeting to understand what the Client wishes to achieve from the design process; the functionality of the space, living requirements, lifestyle, personal tastes and style preferences. Discussions also include the extent of works, timescales, floorplans and budgets. From this initial meeting we look to reflect the personality of the Client within our designs.
Developing the information gathered from the Client brief, we proceed with detailed spatial planning and use of spaces to be able to present our initial concepts, schemes and mood boards with images and samples to propose our designs and ideas for the project. We also propose introductory furniture and lighting layouts for the Client to begin to visualise their new home.
Once the design concept has been approved, we work to fine tune our design ideas to a more precise and detailed concept.
We develop designs through furniture layouts, elevations, architectural detailing, specify the full range of materials and finishes including flooring, paint and wall coverings etc. as well as detailed schemes with images and samples.
We are also able to provide computer generated imagery to aid in visualising how each room will look. At this stage we would expect to provide a series of presentations and attend meetings to allow the Client the opportunity to experience all materials proposed, have a clear visual of the project and provide feedback.
We establish detailed specifications and schedules of sanitaryware, architectural finishes, flooring, ironmongery, lighting, furniture and fabrics.
Designs are developed by working closely with our skilled craftsmen; bespoke furniture makers, antique dealers, trusted suppliers and joiners creating kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms and more.
We progress with sourcing and pricing furniture, lighting, window dressings, wall finishes, fabrics, artwork and accessories to provide Clients with detailed estimates for approval.
Following Client approval and sign off on all previous stages, we proceed to place orders and meticulously monitor each one until the installation phase. We attend regular site meetings and closely monitor construction works as well as keep in regular communication and coordination with suppliers, designers and consultants to ensure a high level of quality is met at every stage. Local and regional delivery teams are appointed to consolidate, quality check, re-package and store items safely until delivery. During installation, we are on hand full-time to assist our delivery teams, provide full quality control and complete styling ready for the Client to enjoy.
